The Illusionists of this world are of the Mystery of Shadow. Everything that exists in Thimhallan and a thousand things that do not may be reproduced or created by Illusion. There are no subclasses in this Mystery, since Illusionists find their talent within themselves. Artists and musicians are almost universally of this class. Illusionists are also used as instructors for children and to aid in the training of catalysts and warlocks.

History

Since their art is transitory and fleeting in nature, Illusionist contributions to history tend to be those of an impractical nature designed to benefit the soul more than the body. After the Great Passage, Illusionists went off with their separate races and factions during the early years of Thimhallan. Since Illusionists were always in search of new and different ways of expressing their art, however, they did not isolate themselves away from the rest of the world, but wandered it freely. Their allegiance is and has always been to Art.
